13 Dec Central RSA looking for Trustees
We are currently recruiting Trustees to further strengthen our Trust Board. We would be delighted to hear from people are keen to make a difference to our schools.
The Trust Board of the Central RSA Academies Trust, is currently seeking individuals with particular specialisms that would complement the skills currently on the Board, to join the board as a Trustee.
We are looking for thoughtful, enthusiastic colleagues with excellent communication skills to join us. The ideal person will have a strong interest in education and in ensuring the very best outcomes for children and young people, but does need not have direct experience of working in education. [We are particularly keen to identify potential Trustees with particular skills in health and safety, finance, law, or with strong local business connections]
The Trust Board meets on average twice a term, with the meetings taking place from 10am until 1.15pm at our base in the Assay Studios, Newhall Street, Central Birmingham.
There are currently five schools in our Trust, with plans for some expansion. Our current schools are based in two hubs, in Redditch and Tipton. As a new Trustee, we will ensure that you get excellent induction, with training and support throughout your time as a member of the Board. We are a member of the RSA Family of Academies, and therefore have access to a range of specialists and networks to support us in ensuring the very best for the young people in our schools, and in supporting our excellent staff in achieving this. The role of Trustee is very rewarding.
