Young Enterprise companies, Woodle (managing director Gareth Richardson) and Thinking Inside The Box (managing director Jessica King) were successful in the regional Young Enterprise competition.

This year, enterprising Y12 students created and sold unique products in school and to the local community. The Young Enterprise Presentation Evening for North Worcestershire was held on 27th April at Stone Manor, Kidderminster. We were thrilled that Woodle was awarded the Social, Ethical and Environmental award for their use of recycled wood to make coasters, candlesticks and plaques. The judges were also impressed that the company donated their products to local residents in the Arrow Vale Christmas hampers.  Photo on the right is Woodle with Ross Veale, their Business Advisor from Lloyds bank.

Congratulations also go to Emeka Albert from Thinking Inside the Box who won the Best Financial Director award – their product was a box of products specially chosen for young people who were going through anxious or challenging times.
